Who are we?
The Goodlove community was created by an international group of lay experts in various fields to promote sexual and affective formation for young people around the world, aligned with the Magisterium of the Catholic Church.
The community provides parents and educators with the best national and international resources and programs.
Our purposes
- Give the parents a trustworthy reference site for the affective sexual education of their childre.
- Help catechists and teachers with resources that help them in their formative and pastoral activities.
- Promote quality and trustworthy sexual affective education programs.
Our brand
The infinity symbol in the goodlove logo, perfectly represents the characteristics of true love between a man and a woman: eternal, complementary, etcetera…
Our history
In 2017, in response to the challenge launched by the Apostolic Exhortation Amoris Laetitia on issues of affective sexual education, experts from 12 countries met at the Vatican for a two-day seminar to discuss the need to provide assistance to parents in the affective-sexual formation of their children.
After this meeting, it was decided to create the goodlove Foundation, a global initiative that will help parents and educators in the sexual-affective formation of their children by providing them with the best possible resources and programs in each language and region.
In order to achieve this goal, the Foundation decided to create the goodlove community, a meeting and exchange place for all those who are committed to giving young people an education for love in accordance with Catholic values and anthropology.

Goodlove Foundation
The goodlove Foundation is responsible for ensuring that the sexual affective formation programs and materials, promoted in the goodlove community, are aligned with the Magisterium of the Catholic Church and help young people to discover their authentic vocation to love

Chapters
The Foundation is organized geographically into Chapters, with the goal of inviting the community to participate in affective-sexual education programs in their regions, promoting community outreach in their Dioceses and Parishes, and raising funds to cover the community’s financial needs.
